SIP Goal Calculator
Enter a target amount and time frame to find the monthly SIP you would need to get there.
Frequently asked questions
How is the monthly SIP worked out?
It reverses the SIP formula: SIP = Target ÷ ([((1 + i)^n − 1) ÷ i] × (1 + i)), where i is the annual return ÷ 12 and n is the number of months.
Should I adjust my target for inflation?
Yes, if the goal is a cost that will rise, such as education. Use our Goal Planner, which inflates today's cost to the future before working out the SIP.
What if I cannot afford the SIP shown?
Try a longer time frame, a step-up SIP that starts smaller and rises each year, or add a one-time amount now.
